Mission Statement
The mission of the Hope Community Youth Choir is to lead a new generation of youth to Jesus Christ through the ministry of music, praise, and worship. Our prayer is that, by God’s spirit, the youth choir will act as an evangelistic means to draw and direct other youth and their families into the Kingdom of God. Participating in the youth choir will allow children to express and offer their praise, gifts, and talents through song to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. By training and integrating our youth into the worship service experience, we believe they will develop reverence and respect for God, but also experience his presence in their personal lives. Scriptural basis for our mission is:
It’s drawing children to Jesus. “Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these'” Matthew 19:14.
It’s encouraging children to praise and worship God. “From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise?” Matthew 21:16.
It’s seeing children as a gift from God. “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him” Psalm 127:3.
It’s pointing children in the right direction. “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it” Proverbs 22:6.
The primary mission of Hope Community Church Usher Ministry is to serve and demonstrate God's love and commission to us, to prayerfully promote a friendly, loving and welcoming atmosphere to all those entering the church of God. Maintaining order and meeting the needs of the congregation during and after service, keeping distraction to a minimum. Saving The Lost at Any Cost
